Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to see my photographs, read about them and write to me. This site was adapted to the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and to the Israeli standard IS 5568 at level AA.
What was checked
On 25/10/2026, nine kinds of page — the home page, the galleries, the exhibition page, the site map, a post, a category and a tag — were checked with an automated tool (axe); by hand: using the keyboard alone (the menu, the contact form, the picture viewer), a phone screen, and the descriptions of the pictures on every page of the site.
What was adapted
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, for keyboard users.
- A clear ring around the element the keyboard is on.
- The contact form takes the keyboard when it opens; its fields are named for a screen reader, and the required field says so in words.
- Links say where they lead; a link inside text is underlined and dark enough to read.
- The photographs carry descriptions for screen readers.
- The site fits a phone screen without scrolling sideways.
Using the keyboard
Tab moves to the next link or field, Shift+Tab to the previous one; Enter follows a link or opens a picture larger; Escape closes the picture viewer and the contact form.
Known limitations
- The "buy this print" links lead to photo-art.co.il, a separate site with its own accessibility.
Reporting an accessibility problem
The accessibility coordinator: Jacki Soikis, phone +972-544556217, email [email protected]. You may also use the contact form, behind the envelope at the top of every page. A request about accessibility is answered as soon as possible, and within 60 days at the latest.
